Academic schemas

Academic schemas define canonical institutional identifiers and the rules that connect subject selections to programmes. They are reused by people, courses, and projects.

SchemaResponsibility
FacultyCodeSchemaSupported faculty codes.
AcademicDepartmentCodeSchemaCanonical department codes.
AcademicUnitCodeSchemaCanonical faculty-unit codes.
HonoursProgrammeCodeSchemaCanonical honours programme codes.
AcademicSubjectCodeSchemaCanonical subject and subject-combination codes.
AcademicSubjectSelectionSchemaUnique two- or three-subject selection.
AcademicDepartmentSchemaDepartment name, faculty, and honours programmes.
AcademicUnitSchemaFaculty unit identity and name.
AcademicSubjectSchemaSubject identity, display name, and owning departments.
HonoursStreamSchemaPublic alias for an honours programme code.
ProgramSchemaDiscriminated general, honours, applied-sciences, and SOR programmes with subject rules.
AcademicYearSchemaA numeric year or consecutive YYYY/YYYY range.
AcademicPeriodSchemaAcademic year plus first or second semester.

The organization module also exports canonical maps for programme ownership, student-directory streams, subject ownership, and the current Science faculty department, unit, and subject lists. Those maps are data constants rather than runtime schemas.

Schema reference

Visual catalog of every public runtime schema exported by packages/schemas, grouped by domain and transport boundary.

People schemas

Public schemas for identities, profile records, students, staff variants, social links, and search projections.
